While the resin coating is very durable, they are still delicate. The base of the tile is ceramic and is susceptible to breakage if not handled with care. Please be cautious of any beverage container that might generate suction - if your glass/cup/bottle/can picks up the coaster and it breaks due to a fall - we will not be able to replace it. These coasters are art first - functionality second.
